WHAT IS RENOVABIO?

Renovabio is the new National Biofuel Policy, which establishes a program that encourages the increase in the use of renewable fuels on a large scale, remunerating its producers and consequently reducing CO2 emissions in the energy matrix.

In line with the commitments that Brazil assumed worldwide at the Climate Conference (Paris Agreement), the government foresees, with this policy and with other initiatives for different sectors, the 43% reduction in the carbon intensity of the country's energy matrix by 2030.

WHAT ARE ITS OBJECTIVES?

Valuing biofuels for their environmental differential, predicting energy safety, ensuring predictability of investments, improving air quality in large cities, encouraging technological innovation, in addition to generating more jobs and income in the sector.
