Ethics is part of our DNA. We believe that moving the world and transforming lives can only be done based on transparent attitudes and behaviors.
We developed the Atvos Compliance System inspired by global best practices and respect for the law, based on three important pillars: prevention, detection, and remediation of risks and misconduct. It works effectively when there is synergy and integration between the company's areas, assertive communication and leadership by example, as well as understanding and adherence to the organizational culture.
Management system by which Atvos is run and monitored, involving the relationship among shareholders, the board of directors, executive management, supervisory and control bodies, among others.
In this system, it is essential to be committed to transparency, compliance, and integrity, which extends to all our members and business partners, in order to foster a culture of ethics, integrity, transparency, and respect for the law.
They are essential for the effectiveness of the Compliance System. These documents describe, record, and disclose decisions, standards, business guidelines, and their limits of action to direct the work and activities performed by Atvos members. Policies and Regulations must be easily accessible and understandable, duly approved, communicated, and reinforced by leaders to ensure that all members are aware of and practice them.
Their purpose is to support conscious and responsible decision-making by identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks, and defining actions to mitigate the impact of potential events to which Atvos is exposed.
The Compliance System is effective when policies, regulations, and mapped risks are properly communicated and addressed in training for members impacted by the issue in question.
We must know and select the third parties with whom we work, guide appropriate conduct, and require compliance with the law when working for Atvos. In this way, we ensure that everyone involved acts in accordance with the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and transparency.
We believe that for a fair and competitive business environment to exist, the productive private sector and government, political, and administrative bodies must act in synergy and be guided by the same values. Our engagement in collective actions aims to promote good compliance practices beyond the company’s “walls”, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders in the promotion of ethics, integrity, and transparency.
The Ethics Hotline aims to provide a confidential and independent means of communication to enable our members, customers, third parties, or anyone else to report any deviations that violate laws, guidelines, and/or our Code of Conduct. It is important to note that we ensure protection for whistleblowers acting in good faith and investigation of each reported case. Click here for more information about our Ethics Hotline.
Through audits and monitoring, we ensure continuous evaluation of internal processes and controls to verify that they are adequate and effective, in addition to anticipating and mitigating risks, while seeking opportunities for improvement in our internal controls.
When non-conformities are identified, we take steps to ensure their immediate cessation and thus apply disciplinary measures and actions necessary to prevent recurrence. The measures adopted are proportional to the severity of the act, the consequences, and the participation and responsibility of those involved, regardless of their roles or positions.
Once a deviation has been identified, the causes and vulnerabilities that enabled the act are also assessed. In this way, we evaluate the adoption of corrective measures and the strengthening of controls to prevent recurrence.

Atvos’ Compliance and Anti-Corruption Policy establishes criteria and limits for the actions of company members, strengthening the culture of ethics and transparency. It also guides interactions with business partners, public authorities, and communities where we operate, as well as other related parties.
In addition, we have a Code of Conduct, which guides the appropriate conduct expected from Atvos employees in the performance of their activities and in internal and external relations.
