Company sponsors event that is part of cycling events schedule in Mato Grosso do Sul

 

Atvos, second largest ethanol producer in the country, will be present in the 4th Marathon NASBIKE 2022. The event, to occur next Sunday (24), in Nova Alvorada do Sul (MS), where the company’s Santa Luzia Plant is located, is part of the 5th Round of XCM State Ranking – a modality of Mountain Bike Cross Country – expected to gather around 400 competitors from several regions of the state, with estimated audience of 600 people.

The circuit will pass near a cane field from Santa Luzia Unit and the company will offer the athletes full breakfast in order to provide well-being to the participants. Atvos brand will be present in media pieces like strips, wind banners and panels, to be positioned throughout the marathon course, including points of support, starting grid and finishing line, and award podium, and also on competitors’ T shirts and string bags.

“NASBIKE is held for some years in Nova Alvorada do Sul and we are glad to sign a partnership to support the event this year. It is an action aligned with Atvos objective to encourage members and residents of communities located around our operations to seek more balance between their personal and professional lives with physical activities and leisure.  As one of the main companies in the region, we have this commitment to foster initiatives that will provide better quality of life to the local population”, explains  Kelly Parpinelli, People Coordinator at Atvos South Pole.

In Atvos Santa Luzia Unit for 13 years, Miguel Neto da Silva, planning analyst, was one of the collaborators that kickstarted cycling practice. The professional encouraged several colleagues to cycle in order to obtain balance between work routine and a Sport that provides leisure and feeling of well-being. “I always thought that taking care of health must come in first place and I’m glad to work in a company that develops these types of action. Cycling, for me, is therapy, and I feel that Atvos supports me, which makes me a multiplier of this activity among my colleagues”, comments the collaborator.

Important round of Mato Grosso do Sul Cycling Federation calendar, NASBIKE is promoted by Nova Alvorada do Sul Cyclist Association and is valid for the State Ranking of Mountain Bike. The route covers the city’s rural roads and the evaluation occur as marathon, divided in the categories Pro (70 km), Sport (75 km), and Tourism (30 km).
