The LGPD, Brazilian Portuguese acronym for General Data Protection Regulation, is the Brazilian law that regulates the processing of personal data, that is, it was created to establish rules that offer more clarity on how we collect, store and share personal data, such as name, email address, etc.
Therefore, when we ask you to consent to the new Privacy Notice, please understand that it is precisely so that Atvos is complying with the LGPD and the information you share is safe.
The LGPD must be complied with by all individuals and legal entities that process personal data, regardless of whether in physical or digital media, as long as they have a commercial/financial interest in the processing of the data.
No! The General Data Protection Regulation applies to any personal data processing, provided that the data has been collected within Brazil and has the objective of offering goods and services to people in the national territory, whether carried out through the internet or not. This way, your data can be collected through some paper form and still be subject to the LGPD regulation.
Personal data is any information that can lead to the identification of an individual, already identified or identifiable. Examples of personal data are: name, address, e-mail, RG (ID), CPF (Individual Taxpayer Registration), location data, IP (internet protocol) address, profession, telephone number, personal characteristics, customs, habits, among others.
Holders are the individuals to whom the personal data subject to processing refer. Every individual is a holder of personal data.
Personal data processing is any operation performed with personal data, such as collection, production, classification, use, access, sharing, storage and disposal.
Personal data that can cause discrimination and place holders in vulnerable situations. That data is described in the General Data Protection Regulation in an exhaustive manner. They are: racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, political opinion, union membership or organization of a religious, philosophical or political nature, data related to health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data, when these are linked to an individual.
The Supervisor is the person responsible for ensuring that the rights are met and that the data is processed in an appropriate manner by the companies. As the holder of personal data, you have the right to
Confirm the Existence of your personal data processing: we guarantee to you, upon request, confirmation of the existence or lack thereof of your personal data processing.
Access your personal data: we guarantee that you can be made aware of what personal data is processed by us and for what purposes.
Anonymizing, blocking or eliminating unnecessary, excessive or processed data that does not comply with the legislation: if you find that we are processing your data in non-compliance with the LGPD, you can ask us to anonymize, block or delete this data from our databases.
Data portability to another service or product provider: we guarantee that you can request your personal data in a structured and readable format, so that it can be shared with other similar companies.
Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data: if it turns out that we are processing any of your personal data in a manner that is wrong, incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, you can request the correction of this data at any time.
Information from public and private entities with which the controller has performed shared data use: you will be able to request information about which entities we share your personal data with.
Information about the possibility of not providing consent and the consequences of denial: whenever we need your consent in order to be able to process your personal data, you will have the option of not granting it. In this case, we will inform you of the consequences of denial.
Revoking of consent: it is your right to revoke the consent granted at any time, upon express request.
Elimination of Personal Data processed on the basis of consent: in the event that the processing of your personal data is carried out on the basis of your consent, you may, at any time, request the elimination of this data from our databases.
Automated decision review: whenever we make decisions based on algorithms, you can question them. To that end, we will inform you of such decisions.
